Intracardiac EP Catheter

The Intracardiac EP catheter is used to determine electrical properties of the atrium and ventricle for various small animals. It is commonly employed in studies involving experimental animals such as mice to investigate cardiac arrhythmias by applying pacing and recording operations within the heart. This allows for the determination of the electrical characteristics of the atria and ventricles, facilitating standard electrophysiological research in rodents and other small animals. Programmed electrical stimulation is also delivered through the catheter for induction of arrhythmia, such as atrial fibrillation.

  • Monitor intracardiac electrical signals

  • Capable of simultaneously collecting ECG signals from multiple locations.

  • Can simultaneously collect signals and deliver stimulation.

  • The number, size and spacing of electrodes can be customized.

Size 1.2 F intracardiac catheter is recommended for mice.

Size 2.4 F intracardiac catheter is recommended for rat.

  • Compatible with a variety of bioelectric amplifiers, stimulators, and data collectors.

The Intracardiac EP catheter is reusable, non-sterile, and for animal use only.

The small animal electrophysiology catheter is utilized for intracardiac electrophysiological experiments in rats or mice.
